Launching in June 2017, Project Brum is Birmingham City Council’s new initiative providing young people with the opportunity of a paid summer internship within the Wellbeing Service. We’re keen to find out more about what they will be doing – we’ll be publishing regular stories by Interns covering their experiences. See our Project Brum Stories.
The Wellbeing Team provide a range of services across Birmingham and the interns will be working in many different roles – Activators working on Active Parks, Active Streets, Run Birmingham and Big Birmingham Bikes, work to support the Real Junk Food project and they’ll be operating behind the scenes analysing data, targeting our marketing and developing the best strategy to meet needs.
The Interns will be given training and supported by Mentors from within the Wellbeing Team and expect updates on Project Brum Facebook page. We are providing support to ensure regular posts will be publishing documenting their progress. Here’s looking forward to an exciting summer and we’re all looking forward to getting to know our interns on Project Brum!
